The church itself was established November 2, 1901 and dedicated on December 15, 1901. At that time, Rev. J. Edward Blair become the pastor and served the church for about a year. The church has gone through a number of significant events since that time.  Check this page frequently for some interesting tidbits regarding the life of this church.

  • In 1921 a motion was made and passed for Rev. Web to purchase a 'Stereotypical lantern' to help as a teaching aid.

  • In January of 1933 the 'Ladies Aid' raised money to purchase a furnace for the church, which cost $130.00. Money was raised from a Silver Tea and Quilt Show at the Glendale Hotel.

  • On April 13, 1937 the church was destroyed by a fire. The new church was completed and dedicated on donated land on April 1, 1939. Donated materials and labor allowed it to be built and the structure still stands today.
